I’m doing much better now. Sometimes, it’s hard to think of reasons why I’m lying down at a hospital bed.
Without any reason at all, my left eye just became painful Sunday morning, and in just a matter of 3 days, the danger of possibly getting blinded lies so close.
The great thing about this situation I had was that I’ve got a lot of friends, and family members, who prayed for me so that the “dangerously close” blindness didn’t happen.
Now, Day Two here at the hospital, I’m still a bit uneasy because of the puss that gets out of my eyelid every now and then.
But I’m just so encouraged that God’s in charge of my left eye.
I’ve got a specialist in Dr. Rommel Bautista who is paient enough to ask my millions of questions regarding the probable coauses of my left eye’s swelling, which as of the moment is called, orbital cellulities.
Anyway, I know for some of you reading this blog, it’s going to be nosebleed to feed you with scientific or medical term that would be of no use.
But I’d like to say that the past days, I’ve been staring (even with my left eye shut because of the swelling) at my “Goliath”, but I hold on to God’s promise, that I AM HEALED!
I hold on to one of my favorite verses in the letter of the Apostle Paul to the Philippians, which says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7)
